Legal Beagle Bagel Breakfast
The deck is stacked against employers! They pay third parties for damages caused by their employees. Employers also generally assume the burden of loss incurred to the company due to an employee’s negligent acts. To top it off, the law also permits, and sometimes mandates, that an employer indemnify its employee for losses incurred from the employee’s behaviors. During this workshop we will examine when an employer is obligated to indemnify employees for losses caused by their actions. We will review case study involving a claim of unlawful harassment and of loss and damage to company property. We will also examine when an employee has a legal obligation to indemnify his/her employer.
We invite business owners, managers, attorneys, and human resources professionals to attend, in person or via webinar, our monthly Legal Beagle Bagel Breakfast to learn more about what businesses can, and should, do to protect themselves.
